Parents may receive their Thursday YO packet containing PTA newsletters and PISD flyers in two format options: Electronic (environmentally “green”) packets arrive in your email via the free eNews service from PISD; or Paper packets arrive via your child’s Thursday folder from school. (Please note: you are free to sign up for both electronic and paper formats, if you wish.) If you would like to receive an electronic YO packet, please sign up for eNews by clicking on the
Note: Many people reported that they did not receive their Electronic YO Packet, but later found the email in their SPAM or Junk Email folders. Subscribers to AOL.com, gmail.com, tx.rr.com, and sbcglobal.net seemed to have the most problems. You might also have to add website@hightowerpta.org to your email address book or to your safe sender list. If you would like to receive a paper YO packet, please send an email request to YO@HightowerPTA.org and give your youngest child’s name, grade, and teacher.
